| The Tau Psi Chapter of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International was proudly chartered April 19, 2006. This culminated a six year effort by the NGCSU Honor Society of Nursing of promoting membership through induction ceremonies and sponsoring educational programs for nurses throughout the community. Sigma Theta Tau is the 2nd largest nursing organization in the world with members in over 90 countries. The two levels of entry into membership are by academic achievement or professional accomplishments. The chapter extends their invitation to an individual then the induction ceremony is held the following spring. A membership into the Honor Society of Nursing demonstrates the member’s leadership and excellence within nursing. |
